From beginning to end, we ensure that all ideas and concerns are fully embraced. Every project is a collaboration of our team’s unlimited ideas and solutions, and more importantly the client’s goals.

Meet the Owner

Barbara Valentim is the founder and owner of Design in the City. Prior to launching her own company Barbara gained experience in the interior design and construction at one of the area’s top design firms following her education in interior design.

The Studio

Design in the City has created a studio environment that provides a beautiful and calm work space for herself and her team. She welcomes clients for meetings here and organizes all her ongoing projects in the space. We are located in the south end in a unique historic shared space with local artisans.
